Description
Colin Blunstone is probably best known as lead singer with the Sixties band The Zombies. For the last 40 odd years Colin has had a solo career releasing records himself or being involved in other music projects. This has meant that some of these recordings are extremely hard to find. In the coming months I hope to sell a large collection of his singles, and hopefully there will be something for you, the collector , to complete your collection.
On offer here is a rare solo album from Colin Blunstone from 1979 called Late Nights In Soho released in Holland. This album proved a dramatic cornerstone in Colin's music career as Rocket Records who he was signed to released this album only in Holland and Australia. This album was recorded at Trident Studios in London and it was never even released in the UK.How must Colin have felt, not even getting a record released in your home country.I don't think he made another album for many years after this, obviously having a huge impact on his music career.The record hardly sold and has now become very difficult to find. His rarest record by far.
However down to the details. The sleeve is in VG+ condition with some light creases near the spine and light cover wear.The inner picture sleeve is in Excellent condition.The record visually Side 1 look Excellent and plays Excellent + or better. Side 2 is graded as VG, there are 2 scuffs on the vinyl. All tracks play well apart from track 3 which does have a few clicks towards the end of the track. This side still played well on my record deck and the clicks were not too intrusive, but will grade as VG.
Altogether a very presentable LP of Colin's rarest record and although not mint is still in very acceptable condition.
