Catch a Fire, is Bob Marley's 1st album on Island Records. The advance for the album enabled the group to buy tickets to return to Jamaica from a UK tour.  The LP features nine songs, two of which were written by Peter Tosh and the rest by Bob Marley. After Marley's return to London to present the tapes to Blackwell, the producer reworked the tracks with contributions by Muscle Shoals session musician Wayne Perkins, who played guitar on two overdubbed tracks. This LP established the group as international stars.

The vinyl record description of very good/good is in keeping with the definitions for Record collector Magazine's Record Gradings.

It's in it's original unusual hinged picture sleeve card cover, which has no marks or discoloration. It is intact, except that the metal hinge clip is missing. The record cover shows signs of wear  at the edges consistent with it's age of 43 years.
