- Artist & Title: Colonel Bagshot - Oh! What A Lovely War
- Label & Cat #: 1974 Cadet Concept – CC 50010 *Originally released in 1971 this is a 1974 GRT reissue - green labels with pink horse
- Vinyl Grade: Play graded *Very enjoyable listen that is impacted in a few places by noise interference. I play graded 7 of the 11 tracks as Excellent or Near Mint. Of the remaining 4 tracks, 3 were graded as Very Good Plus with a few sequences of light ticks (between 2-5). The "I've Seen The Light" track has a couple dozen light ticks caused by a surface mark (visible in photos). The "Six Day War" track and the title track plays EX/NM
- Cover Grade: Very Good Plus (VG+) *cut corner and some seam wear on top rh seam; lyrics insert included and in nice shape other than fold crease in center
- Notes: Colonel Bagshot were an English rock band formed in the late 1960s in Liverpool, England. Originally called "Colonel Bagshot's Incredible Bucket Band", they began as a six-piece, eventually becoming a four-piece. Their final line-up included Brian Farrell (vocals, guitar, stylophone), Ken Parry (vocals, guitar, keyboards), Dave Dover (vocals, bass, keyboard), and Terry McCusker (vocals, drums). This was their only studio album which included their best-known song, "Six Day War", later remixed in 2002 by DJ Shadow and titled "Six Days" and by Mahmut Orhan in 2018 retitled "6 Days". The song was also sampled by Pusha T in “Just So You Remember,” from 2022’s “It's Almost Dry.”

GRADING STANDARDS: (M) Mint: Record and cover appear absolutely perfect in every way. Grade is seldom used, even with sealed albums where the record itself can only be assumed to be mint.
(NM) Near Mint: Vinyl is shiny with no obvious signs of wear and plays perfectly with no audible imperfections. Cover is close to perfect with minor signs of wear or age just becoming evident.
(EX or VG++) Excellent /Very Good ++: Record or jacket has a minimum of audible or visual imperfections. Vinyl has been handled and played very carefully. Light paper scuffs and/or spindle marks may be visible with no appreciable lessening in sound quality. Covers show very minor signs of handling and wear.
(VG+) Very Good Plus: Record displays light scuffs, spindle marks or very light scratches that may create some noise disturbances, but don't affect one's overall listening experience. Jacket begins to show more prominent signs of storage wear and aging.
(VG) Very Good: Defects are more pronounced with visible signs of handling and playing. Surface noise is evident upon playing, especially during soft passages and a song's intro and fade, but will not overpower the music otherwise. Covers may be marred by writing, or have tape or stickers (or their residue) attached, although none of the flaws should be overwhelming.
(G) Good / (G+)Good Plus: Vinyl will have scratches and visible groove wear. Record plays without skipping, although noticeable surface noise or ticks will be heard. Jackets have even more pronounced defects such as seam splits, tape, writing, ring wear, water damage or other defects.
