Description

BLUES/JAZZ  - Bessie Smith accompanied by her Bands -Bob Fuller Clt, Isadore Myers Pno and Elmer Snowdon banjo on "Nobody" and Louis Armstrong cnt, Charlie Green Tbn and Fletcher Henderson piano on "JC Holmes". "Nobody" is surprisingly upbeat and quite jazzy with great accompaniment while "JC Holmes" is classic blues with masterful accompaniment. Visually the record is VG with quite a lot of wear on "Nobody" while "JC Holmes" is better at about VG to VG+ with some gloss. However playback is the opposite of what might be expected, with "Nobody" loud and clear with slight distortion in loud passages while "JC Holmes" has more distortion and muffling, while still generally loud and clear. Quite a rare record and is still collectable even in rather worn condition.
