Description
After collecting for over 50 years...Its time to starting clearing out a number of my recordings. Most of these will be in the 1898 to 1910 period with a few exceptions going up into the 1930s. I've enjoyed these recordings and I hope you will too. These records will be shipped in a new box wrapped with cardboard and bubble wrap to protect them. Tracking info will be provided........
Columbia Disc 1902. Joseph Natus- We're all good fellows from B'way musical comedy, The Chaperones.. I added a picture of the music from the musical. The picture is from the NY Public Library.....
The record is in Fair condition. Has a rough start and clears up. But does have surface noise all the way through.. No hung grooves, noisy start and no company announcement in the beginning. Just the song and artist. The recording in the Columbia book and listings I've checked, list this as by Dan W Quinn and Harry Tally....
So while its condition is only fair, it is obviously a recording rarely seen or cataloged. It was made and I am sure and advertised by Columbia. But I feel this Disc is quite rare and adds another singer to the list who recorded this number.
