Description

Columbia 33CX 1287, 1st UK pressing on Columbia Blue and Gold labels. Very rare.

Play tested on my Linn Basik turntable fitted with Linn Akito tonearm, and fitted with an Ortofon 2M blue cartridge and stylus. LP graded as VG++ / EX ( + ). Side 1 has a couple of light surface marks and rub marks plus a long scratch. Otherwise it is generally in very fine condition. There is some surface noise on the opening track of Side 1 (Sonata Nr. 3 in A minor) and also three loudish clicks about 1 minute in on that track. Subsequently there are very occasional light clicks and sometimes the surface is not quite silent. Side 2 is in excellent condition with some very occasional, very light surface noise. Jacket in EX ( + ) condition - please see photos.

I have received feedback on previous auctions commenting that my opinion on grading is very strict therefore overall the LP and jacket be EX + condition.
