Description

This is a part of my big auction Rockabilly/Country & Early Rock N' Roll 7" 45's. I have records from Specialty, Roulette, Dot and several really small labels up for sale this week. Release: Commonwealth Jones – Do Do Do / Who's Been Here

Format: 45 rpm 7" single


Year: 1961


Notes: Red label first pressing. The only rockabilly record released under this name by this artist out of Waxahachie, TX (he would release a blues record about 5 years later). His given name was Ronnie Dawson, under which he released several more records.  This one is a stone cold killer.  Sounds like the nastiest Jerry Lee Lewis, but with the guitars cranked up to 11.  Must hear!


Vinyl Condition: VG+, vinyl is in great shape with hardly any wear at all, just one visible hairline on the edge. Looks very clean and sounds great with no skips/ticks/bumps, plays with hardly any background noise at all.  Labels are nice with original gloss, no tearing/stickers. This is a top notch copy overall.


Sleeve Condition: VG, has some wrinkles and a small top edge tear.  Nice shape overall though and presents well.
