This is part of a big auction full of rockabilly record from Checker, Decca, Imperial and several very small label.  Great stuff that doesn't come up for sale often.  Many of these are promos or have original sleeves and almost all all are in great shape.

Release: The Collins Kids - Heartbeat / Party

Format: 45 rpm 7" single

Year: 1957

Notes: White label promo with not for sale verbiage. One of the underrated groups of the era for sure.  Great Wanda Jackson-esque vocals and electric guitar backing. In fact the B-side is a track popularized by Jackson.  A-side has a little drive to it, really a must hear if you are a fan of this genre.

 

Vinyl Condition: VG+, vinyl is in great shape with hardly any wear at all. The play area is nearly EX, there is just some light storage scuffing the runoff. Looks very clean and sounds great with no skips/ticks/bumps, plays with hardly any background noise at all.  Label is super-clean with no marks/tears/stickers, but does have some light scuffing.  This is an overall really nice copy.

Sleeve Condition: VG, sleeve has nice color, but paper is somewhat brittle with some chipping at the top.  There is also some light wrinkling and a small pencil number in the corner.  Displays well.
