Here's a great lot of five Columbia D 15000 Series Country 78s out of my personel collection.All play tested and all play nicely.I'll go into more detail how each one plays in description.FIRST RECORD is by Riley Puckett and is on Columbia label # 15163-D.Songs titled The Darkey's Wail on one side and has Fuzzy Rag on the other side.Terrific looking 78 but has two problems which do not affect play on The Darkey's Wail side.Has a three inch long lam that starts about a 1/2 inch in from edge.Instead of the usual lam which runs across the grooves this one runs sorta in line with the grooves then runs a little towards edge the longer it gets.It's on this side only.Even though it's visable it does not affect play at all.Also has one dimple indention spot on grooves about 1/2 of an inch before song is over at the 11 O' Clock area of record.This also does not affect play at all.Side looks very nice with two light non feelable scratches.Has a small amount of very light scuffing.Has one scuff across grooves near bottom that is more than light but is not feelable and does not affect play.Has tons of Beautiful shine on grooves.The Fuzzy Rag side of record looks Terrific with one light non feelable scratch and two very small scratches that can lightly be felt.Small amount of very light scuffing.Has a small edge flake on this side only that cannot be seen on other side at all.It measures 1/4th of an inch long but only goes into record slightly more than 1/16th of an inch.Right by very edge so probably sounds worse than it looks.This side also has an extremely light very small bump from the dimple on other side.Its extremely light only but I thought I'd mention it.This side also has tons of shine on grooves.Both sides play tested and play as follows.The Darkey's Wail side plays very nicely with a very light to light background hiss.Only a small amount of ticks.Has one light pop near end of song.Plays and sounds Terrific.The Fuzzy Rag side also plays very nicely with a small amount of ticks only.No pops.Plays with a light background hiss only.SECOND RECORD is by Gid Tanner and Riley Puckett and is on Columbia label # 15017-D.Songs titled Fox Chase on one side with the song The Arkansas Traveler on the other side.The Fox Chase side has seven light non feelable scratches and three small feelable scratches.Two of the feelable scratches are very tiny.Other one is small and can only lightly be felt.Also has a 1/2 inch long feelable line in grooves that is either a groove dig spot or a section with groove pitting.Probably a groove dig spot.Looks to be about 3 grooves wide and 1/2 inch long.Kind of looks like multiple groove pit marks in a line.Doesn't seem to affect play much if at all Side also has some scuffing which also does not affect play.Still has nice shine on grooves.The Arkansas Traveler side has nine light non feelable scratches and nine feelable scratches.A good part of the feelable scratches are small to very small.Side has some scuffing which does not affect play.Still has nice shine on grooves.Both sides play tested and play as follows.The Fox Chase side plays nicely with a small amount of ticks.I also counted one light pop.Plays with a kind of in between light and medium background hiss only because there's not a great amount of music.The Fox Chase song is more of a spoken word song with fox chase violin sound effects.Some playing but mostly a sound effect story.The Arkansas Traveler side plays nicely with a light background hiss.I counted maybe ten ticks and also three pops.Song has more music playing on this side than other side.Has a small amount of spoken words.THIRD RECORD is by Riley Puckett and is on Columbia label # 15102-D.Songs titled Ida Red on one side and has Sally Goodwin on the other side.Both songs actually are Riley Puckett on Guitar and Bill Shores on Fiddle.Bill Shores was a lesser known fiddle player out of Atlanta but he's really terrific on this record.The Ida Red side looks super nice.Has only one small scratch near end of song that is feelable that does not affect play.No other scratches.Has three scuffs only.Side looks very nice.Has seven to ten individual grooves only with some groove wear.Has some graying on the individual grooves.Otherwise rest of grooves has lots of shine.The Sally Goodwin side is very nice with three small light non feelable scratches.Small amount of light scuffing.One tiny feelable groove pit which if it does affect play only causes a few ticks.This side has what looks to be four to five very small very short sections with some wear on grooves.There extremely short at maybe two to three groove wide only.Light gray on these very small sections.Rest of side has lots of shine on grooves.Very nice looking record.Plays Terrific.The Ida Red side plays Beautifully with a very light to light background hiss only.I counted only two ticks only.No pops.The Sally Goodwin side also plays Terrific with a light background hiss.I counted five ticks and no pops.Both songs are really great.FOURTH RECORD is by Burnett and Rutherford and is on Columbia label # 15187-D.Songs titled Are You Happy Or Lonesome on one side with the song My Sweetheart In Tennessee on the other side.The Are You Happy Or Lonesome side has two scratches.One is very small at 1/8th of an inch and can lightly be felt.Also has one long scratch that nearly goes all the way across grooves that can lightly be felt.Neither scratch affect play.No other scratches.This side only also has a small 3/8th inch long lam near edge that does not affect play.This side also has several small lams near edge on one section only of record.I count 20 small lams that run near edge from the four O' Clock area to the Five O' Clock area of record.All are right near edge.Not sure what caused these but none are feelable and they do not affect play.I'd say about seven of them go into the first ten grooves or so.The other thirteen seem to stop  near first groove or very shortly after first groove.Has about ten groove pit marks in which about half are feelable.None affect play.Has some light scuffing and also one small gray colored feelable scuff near beginning of song.It is feelable and causes 7 noisy pops at the beginning.Side has lots of very nice looking shine on grooves.The Sweetheart In Tennessee side looks Beautiful with only one tiny light non feelable scratch.Has five small feelable groove pit marks.Small amount of very light to light scuffing.Has tons of Beautiful shine on grooves.Both sides play as follows.The Are You Happy Or Lonesome side has those seven pops near beginning of song caused by the small scuff.Rest of song plays terrific with two ticks only and no more pops.Plays with a light background hiss only.The Sweetheart In Tennessee side plays very nicely with a light background hiss.I counted a total of three ticks and no pops at all.FIFTH RECORD is by Charlie Poole With The North Carolina Ramblers.Columbia label # 15160-D.Songs titled Hungry Hash House on one side with the song The Highwayman on the other side.The Hungry Hash House side has a total of three scratches.Has a one one inch scratch and a 1/4th inch scratch that are feelable but do not affect play.Also has one ugly looking squiggy type scratch that has the color white on the scratch on four different very small sections of the scratch Please see picture.The scratch is very thin but I guess it went deep enough to show the white color underneath.The Amazing part is that it does not affect play except for a very light tick or two at the most.If it wasn't for this one scratch the side would look stunning.Still looks really nice.Has four tiny feelable pit marks.Has one extremely light dimple and a small amount of very light to light scuffing.Has tons and tons of Beautiful looking shine on grooves.The Highwayman side of record looks stunning.Has a total of three scratches.The largest is 3/4th of an inch long and can be felt extremely lightly.Has two very tiny scratches that are also feelable.Has a small amount of very light scuffing and also one extremely small feelable scuff.Has tons of Beautiful looking shine on grooves.Nice lot of Five.I Apologize for the high shipping cost.The only box that I have large enough to ship these in is a 12X12X8 inch Priority box.I'm out of plain boxes at this time.
