Georges Bizet formally Alexandre César Léopold Bizet, (25 October 1838 – 3 June 1875) was a French composer, mainly of operas. In a career cut short by his early death, he achieved few successes before his final work, Carmen, became one of the most popular and frequently performed works in the entire opera repertory.
This is a rare opportunity to own this highly sought, and collectable item which is in overall Excellent+ condition. The sleeve is in excellent condition. The inner sleeve is in excellent+ condition. The vinyl is in excellent+/near mint condition with the labels near mint also. This recording is on the celebrated Columbia SAX blue/silver label and is a rare 1st edition pressing.
