Excellent Condition
Original 1966 first issue on UK Columbia semi-circle white/red label. It is widely regarded as one of the finest performances of Mahler 4 on record. The recording quality is excellent throughout with outstanding presence and dynamics.
The disc is in excellent condition, clean without marks or scratches. It has been play tested on both sides on a Linn LP12/Ittok. It plays beautifully. There is only very occasional, extremely slight surface noise, consistent with the age of the record. This should not affect one's enjoyment of the recording.
The sleeve is the original flip-back in excellent condition. There is some minor age-related wear on the back and edges of the sleeve. It is otherwise clean with intact laminate. Please see the photos.
