Description
This early stereo LP contains an outstanding recording of the virtuoso D. Oistrakh performing
Beethoven's magnificent violin concerto.
Oistrakh's fascinating style casts a spell on the listener.
Columbia SAX 2315, made in Great Britain.
Matr. numbers YLX 1006 - 6 / YLX 1007 - I 6
The condition has to be classified as VG+ but it's not a sufficient measurement.
Most of the time there are very slightly scratches that don't affect the delight of
listening even in soft passages. That would be classified better than VG+.
Please take a note on the following sound examples.
Page 1 at the beginning (MP3 1 MB)
Page 2 late part (MP3 1 MB)
Page 2 however ends with a louder passage of 30 seconds
with audible beginning groove wear, that would be VG.
Page 2 end (MP3 1 MB)
Cover and the original inner sleeve are in VG+ condition.

Grading
M = Mint: Absolutely perfect, possibly unused or still sealed
NM = Near mint (M- = Mint Minus): Record and jacket are in nearly new condition and they don't have
cut-out holes.
VG+ = Very Good Plus (EX = Excellent): Slight signs of wear, very light scratches, warps, not
affecting the sound. The center hole is not out of shape.
Jacket or sleeve with slight ring wear, slight traces of uage, cut-out hole.
VG = Very Good: Moderate surface noise in soft passages. Groove wear and light scratches
begin to become audible and affect the sound.
Labels, sleeves, covers are marred by writing, tape or stickers, but not all of them.
