Description
"Company 6" LP. EURO FREE JAZZ. You are bidding on a super rare and important LP documenting a historic 1977 meeting between free jazz legends Anthony Braxton, Evan Parker, Steve Lacey, Derek Bailey, Han Bennink W. Leo Smith, Lol Coxhill, and others!!! Issued on the British label Ictus as part of a series of what they called the "Company Collaborations", this installment brings together . This LP is a virtual "who's who" of the more heady, intellectual side of 60s/70s avant garde jazz in Europe and the US. Free Improv with virtually no structuring other than the collaboration of the instruments. Side 2 includes a dope 9-minute long trio performance between Bailey(on guitar), Braxton on flute, soprano and alto sax, and Bennink on drum. Way out of print...Hell Yeah... Vinyl: NM; Sleeve: VG(has slight bends on two corners and a little bit of marking from the LP itself).
