Description
The discs are clean and shiny, play great, undamaged: condition Excellent. The 16 page booklet is clean and preserved: condition Excellent. The box is clean and undamaged: condition Excellent. Oddities are this is the vinyl record version of this release in the cd box labeled MD4-133 instead of MR5-133, plus the inside booklet cover notice of numbered status has the line with a blank for hand-written number but no number is written. Booklet has play list for both lps and cds. Music is from 5 sessions with 4 by quartet, last one a quintet. (It takes three different albums to match these tracks.) Green plays guitar, Clark piano, and they are joined by Sam Jones on bass 4 sessions, Wendell Marshall bass on the last, Louis Hayes plays drums at 3 sessions, Art Blakey one, and Willie Bobo one, with Carlos Potato Valdez plays congas on the last, and Ike Quebec plays tenor on the last. Bad news, only a handful of Green originals. Both Clark and Quebec died with 5 months. Delicate to brawny, great music. Mosaic booklet has business address on Melrose Pl, Stamford.
