The Complete DGG Brahms Edition.
This lot includes all eight volumes of the DGG Brahms edition that was issued in the mid to late 80s.
The eight boxes contain 62 LPs altogether, many of the featured interpretations are digital recordings.
To my experience this is the by far rarest of the DGG complete editions, in fact I hardly ever come across single volumes of this.
To find it in its entirety really is a rare event, and this is actually the first time in my almost ten years of record selling that I'm able to offer a complete set.
The eight volumes include

Performers and conductors are, among others, Claudio Abbado, Herbert von Karajan, Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau, Martha Argerich, Gidon Kremer, Mischa Maisky, Tamas Vasary, Kristian Zimerman, Maurizio Pollini, the Amadeus Quartet, Wolfgang Sawallisch, Leonard Bernstein, Jessye Norman etc.

Condition Boxes: NM. Minimal storage-wear. the Orchestral-Works box has a light but lengthy cut in the spine, but apart from this they appear to be almost like new.

Condition Vinyls: Mint. Most likely an entirely unplayed set.

About my record-grading:
All records are described as accurately as possible and I will always prefer a more detailed depiction of the actual status, but usually I’ll only visually grade the records.
Please note that old records that were stored in shelves for a long time might have static noises even if they still look like new. Professional cleaning will almost always solve that problem.
Dust on records will generally not influence my gradings but if records appear to have stronger signs of soiling, I will give them a professional cleaning and playgrade them to get a more objective view on what their condition is actually like.
