Conan O’Brien’s contribution to Third Man Records’ “Green Series” of Spoken Word/Instructional records, “And They Call Me Mad?” is Conan’s hilarious improvised take on the Frankenstein legend. The B side of the single is an interview with Conan conducted by friend Jack White.
100 of these records were made available in the Third Man Records store front on August 24th, 2010, and now for the unlucky folks who were not able to make it to Nashville to purchases these limited edition vinyl treasures, 10 copies are now being made available for you. Each single sells for $100 US, and all the proceeds from the sale of these records goes to ReTune Nashville, a Tennessee Non-Profit organization helping provide relief for uninsured musicians through the sale of artwork created from flood damaged musical instruments. This charity was picked by Conan O'Brien to specifically support Nashville musicians whose livelihood was severely affected by the 2010 Nashville flood.
