Description

Here’s a very old Conn Victor cornet (or trumpet, as these can be sometimes hard to differentiate). The serial number is 191242, which dates to 1922. It has an “opera glass” tuner with a knob that moves one of the slide tuners. There’s a few small dings here and there, no serious dents. All slides and valves move. It comes with a Vincent Bach 7c mouthpiece and what I believe to be the original case. The mother of pearl cap on valve number 2 has a crack in it. The case is old and musty, but still functions. I blew a few notes through it, the valves decreased the notes by the steps and half-steps they should, it seems to be playable to me… but that’s the opinion of a guitar player, so take it for what you will. This horn is “attic fresh” and may need some maintenance work to get it 100% working. Sold as is. Drop me a message if ebay doesn’t calculate shipping for you. Happy bidding!!
