This legendary rock band from Davenport, Iowa, toured the Midwest through the late 1960's and into the 1970's. They had a #2 hit record on Midwest radio in 1967 called, "Direction Of Mind". In the 1970's Mike (Mick) Orton replaced Larry Smith. Eventually, they changed their name to Tabernash and they moved to the Denver, Colorado area. In 1976-77, Mick Orton and Paul Staack joined the Midwest rock band, Silver Laughter. The original sound (and songs) of the Contents Are: were influenced by the Beatles, Byrds, Buffalo Springfield, and the other tasteful 1960's bands. This 45 single is their very rare second release off of the LP, Through You. This original copy is in excellent condition. Questions are welcomed! Check out my other items.
