Description

On offer is a great Calypso record in less than great shape, but hard enough to find in any condition. Dirty Jazz from Down South on Cook #1188, on beautiful Blue Vinyl no less! Includes the booklet, which is in decent shape. Record is in G condition, sleeve is a bit better, with a top seam split of about 1/2" and a bottom split of maybe 1" and a fair bit of wear to the gloss... kinda musty smelling, and the record would definitely benefit from a deep clean... 
****On further listening, there's one spot on side A that will likely skip on most turntables- it's near the beginning of track 5. Might play through with heavy tracking, might not. Looks like a needle dig that runs parallel to the grooves for about 1/4 rotation, and causes a loop that's perfectly in time with the music on my light-tracking turntable*****
