Cook's Dreamland Orchestra Moanful Moan/Lonely Little Wallflower Gennett 5373
rec Jan 1924 Featuring the legendary, little recorded Freddie Keppard and also Jimmie Noone.
The Record is E-V+, maybe E-. The grooves show no graying or significant wear. Surface is bright and shows about as much gloss as you ever see on a Gennett. There are some small scratches that cause ticks but the record plays without distortion.
Records are graded visually. I play grade any potential problem areas. I attempt to grade conservatively, listing all significant flaws. I use the VJM grading system--N, N-, E+, E, E-, V+, V, V-, G, F, P. My highest grade is E+ unless the record is known to be store stock. You will be satisfied. No hassles.
78s will be properly packed and shipped in a box with cardboard squares and bubble wrap, not a record mailer.
