Description

Corrosion of Conformity's third record in a very nice EX/EX shape. By their second album, 1985's 'Animosity', COC evolved into a potent power trio, with bassist, Mike Dean snarling out some of the best hardcore vocals of the 80's. Perhaps the wrong decision led to COC adding Simon Bob from Ugly Americans on vocals for 1987's 'Technocracy', providing a  more clear vocal style. Musically, COC lost no momentum. All their fast guttural dirge punk sound remained intact and 'Technocracy' contains some of their last crustiest riffs, but now with a guy who is probably a better fit singing for The Descendants. However, they did make it work for awhile, until Simon Bob quit and COC shuffled the lineup to become the metallic stoner/sludge outfit they became in the 90's. Cover is an absolute well cared for EX and has a 'Loaned for promotional use only' stamp on the back. Vinyl also looks great and the same five tracks appear on both sides. Sounds awesome, but if original pressings with a little dust is a deal breaker, go order records from Amazon. Includes T shirt and merch information.
