Description

An original 1st press in Mono from 1965 on UK Verve. Matrix 1N/1N. Stampers 1G/1G. Yes folks - this is a copy from the 1st stamper ever employed by EMI. How about that for good provenance! The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original mono flipback cover.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex-) In great condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection I could only make out a couple of light marks per side - nothing heavy or troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback with one slight deviation. Lovely and clean throughout. That would be pretty cool in its own right. But this is the 1G 1st copy so you most certainly will never again find a copy with such good audio provenance and one so well cared for <combined>. This in COMBINATION means you're looking at the best copy on the market. I couldn't make out more than a few crackles in one isolated spot per side. And a couple of ticks in the intro to 'Squat'. A right little cracker!
Cover (Ex-) Given the vintage looking very tidy indeed. Lovely clean and flat front with precious little creasing. The rear ha avoided most of the usual ageing process. the flipbacks are all intact and secure. Very little edge wear at all and the openings are still firm. Spine is 100% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
