Description
Now for something completely different with some tunes about America's pastime with some of best players of all time. Count Basie on RCA with Did You See Jackie Robinson Hit That Ball and Shoutin' Blues. Trust me about the songs on the labels. Those RCA pressings are awful to read. Really good song about the great Jackie Robinson and a good instrumental on the flip. Tough to find on a 45.
Vinyl is a nice and shiny VG with some very light surface scratches.
I record the songs using an Audio Technica VM 540 ML needle through a McIntosh C24 preamp. You can hear the song from beginning to needle lift with NO editing of the MP3.
Listen to a sound clip of sides 1 & 2.
I'm starting to sell off my 45 year personal collection that consists of all types of novelty records like, Halloween, Christmas, Beatle novelty, Elvis novelty, Break-in, Answer, Trucker and Chipmunk sounds.
