The Item:
Count Basie AFM transfer card (1930): from the files of the American Federation of Musicians, Kansas City, Mo.
Transfer of "William Bassie" (sic) to KC (to join the Bennie Moten band).
Please note: NOT signed by Basie. The line for his signature is blank.
Still an unusual item.
Date: 1930 Size: 6.25" x 4"
Condition: Near Mint, very minor wear to corners. Pictures tell the story honestly.
