Description
Excellent-playing copy of Counting Crows’ classic debut album, August and Everything After, featuring “Round Here,” “Omaha,” “Mr. Jones,” “Rain King,” “Sullivan Street,” and “A Murder of One.”
This is the 2017 U.S. DGC/Geffen reissue on two 180-gram black vinyl records, housed in a gatefold cover. The matching Rainbo Records matrix numbers and “CB” inscriptions identify the desirable Chris Bellman lacquer cut.
The records are conservatively graded VG+ visually because of light smudges/fingerprints and a few faint superficial marks—not because of playback problems. Hardly any scratches are visible, and no attempt was made to clean the vinyl. The records were play-tested and sounded fantastic, with no skips, repeats, or other issues noted. Playback is stronger than the cautious visual grade.
The gatefold cover is VG+ and looks very nice overall. It has very light corner wear in two small areas and one tiny, less-than-1-inch shallow squiggly indentation/crease, shown in the close-up photo. The gatefold interior and included plain white paper inner sleeves are also VG+.
A close-up video is included for additional examination of the vinyl surfaces, cover, and overall condition. Every photo and the video show the exact copy being sold.
