Description
Hello there and welcome to my auction. Please read my descriptions carefully before you bid. Please make sure you read everything especially the condition of each vinyl. The grading and criteria are below.
This is an auction for: Counting Crows - August & Everything After - RARE Original Vinyl LP album 1993.
Original 1993 pressing, printed in Holland.
Geffen Records.
This one is NOT in the best condition but is a decent and fully playable entry level original. There is NO buy it now and I am letting the auction run to the end.
Vinyl Condition: Fair (The record surfaces show a lot of light marks, scratches and light wear. There are some small scratches but generally it is mostly lots of general light surface marks. Visually the record looks very marked but does play through fine. There is audible crackle throughout the album and a fair bit of snap, crackle and pop but no sticks or jumps at all. There are clicks and pops but overall the record is still enjoyable. Overall if you can;t bear surface noice then I would advise passing this one by however this is a nice fully playable entry level original for the price and it can been enjoyed. Such a great album).
Inner sleeve Condition: G (Inner sleeve has an approx 5cm split to the bottom edge. Otherwise ok).
Outer Sleeve Condition: G (Some light edge and corner wear & creasing and some nicks to the top edge and bottom edge. Some corner wear and fraying but is overall in pretty good condition).
I grade my vinyl’s as follows:
M = Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Unplayed and sealed records are referred to as Mint.
Ex = Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is no lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have minimal wear and/or creasing.
VG = Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.
Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects.
G = Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
Fair = The record shows signs of extensive play and may have many marks and deep scratches but will still play ok but with significantly lower sound quality. Artwork will be rather worn with possible splits, small rips, scrapes, dents, or maybe water damage.
