Here's a small lot of four 1920s Country 78s.The first 78 is by Mac also known as Harry McClintock and is on the Victor Scroll label # 21704.Has the song The Big Rock Candy Mountains on one side with the song The Bum Song 2 on the other side.The Big Rock Candy Mountains song is the same one from the O Brother Where Art Thou? movie which you probably already know.The Big Rock Candy Mountains side has small light scratches along with seven small feelable scratches.Has scuffing and some groove wear but still has lots of very nice looking shine on grooves.Has one hairline crack on label on this side only Please see picture.Its very light only and touches only 1/4 of an inch of the record on the trail off area right next to label.Only on this side and its been there for more than 20 years since I've owned it.Super light so will never spread unless forced.Bum Song 2 No. 2 side has six light scratches and six small feelable scratches.Has some scuffing.Has lots of very nice looking shine on grooves.Both sides should play nicely.SECOND RECORD is a very nice Walter Morris 78 on Columbia label # 15101-D.Songs titled The Railroad Tramp on one side with the song Take Back Your Gold on the other side.The Railroad Tramp side has one very small light scratch and two extremely small feelable scratches.Has a very light dimple on grooves on this side only near middle of song.Small amount of very light to light scuffing.Lots of Terrific looking shine on grooves.Has a small A stamped on the trail off area of label not near grooves.The Take Back Your Gold side is very nice with a couple of small very light to light scratches only.Has one small spot where it appears needle skipped near beginning of song that caused 5 very small lines along grooves.Area play tested and it does not affect play at all.Has some very light scuffing.Good shine on grooves.A Terrific looking 78.THIRD RECORD is by Charlie Poole With The North Carolina Ramblers.Columbia label # 15138-D.Songs titled Goodbye Booze on one side with the song Budded Rose on the other side.The Goodbye Booze side is very nice with 5 very light scratches and three small feelable scratches.Small amount of very light scuffing and a small amount of light scuffing.This side has a pretty noticeable dimple on grooves that will not affect play.Grooves are very nice with lots of shine.The Budded Rose side is very nice with 3 light non feelable scratches.Has some light scuffing.Small bump on grooves from the dimple on other side.Will not affect play.Has tons of nice looking shine on grooves.FOURTH RECORD is a very nice 78 by Hugh Cross on Columbia label # 15182-D.Songs title I'm Going Away From The Cotton Fields on one side with the song The Parlor Is A Pleasant Place To Sit In Sunday Night.The I'm Going Away From The Cotton Fields side has Five very light scratches and Five light non feelable scratches.One scratch that can be felt lightly.Also has some light scuffing.Good shine on grooves.Has a very tiny very minor fleabite on edge on this side only.Should play very nicely.The Parlor Is A Pleasant Place To Sit In Sunday Night side also has five very light scratches and five light non feelable scratches.Also has light scuffing.Has lots of shine on grooves.I Apologize for the high shipping price.All I have at this time are Priority Boxes so it makes the shipping a bit pricey.These will be shipped safely in a large box with each record in between a cardboard square and then placed in a cardboard sandwich with plenty of padding in the box.
