To commemorate the 30th anniversary of its release, the world's first analog reissue of the album "Coverdale/Page", a collaboration between White Snake's David Coverdale and Led Zeppelin's Jimmy Page, will be released! Originally released in 1993, this album marked the only collaboration between the two legendary musicians. After achieving global success with White Snake in the late 1980s, David Coverdale disbanded the band in the early 1990s. On the other hand, Jimmy Page had not been actively involved in music since his solo work in 1988. At the suggestion of A&R John Kalodner, who had revived Aerosmith, the two musicians, who were both signed to Geffen Records at the time, joined forces. The album made a strong debut, reaching No. 4 in the UK and No. 5 in the US, and even had a successful tour in Japan with over 150,000 copies sold. However, the project came to an end after just one year when Jimmy Page turned his focus to a project with Robert Plant. At the time, limited quantities of the album were produced on vinyl overseas, fitting around 61 minutes of music onto one LP. For this first-time Japanese release on vinyl, the album has been split across two LPs for optimal sound quality, with transparent blue discs.
