Hello, I have been on eBay as a buyer and seller since October 1999 with a 100% feedback record, so bid and buy with confidence!
Up for sale today is a great copy of Cream's Best of Cream album. Importantly, this is a white label promo in the very rare mono format made for radio station play. Prefix number is 33-291, confirming its status as a mono issue.
The album plays Near Mint to Mint and looks VG+. Some minor fine scratches, with some scuffs; the white labels are in good shape (no spindle marks) except someone (presumably the radio station) has highlighted certain songs (see photos). Thus, the overall grade, sound quality (NM) plus visual appearance (VG+), is Excellent. Most importantly, to me anyway, the album sounds great!
The cover is also in Excellent to NM condition. Cover graphics are solid, all four corners are square and sharp, side seam is in terrific shape (no wear at all), no splits, no tears. Only minor issue is at some time there must have been a sticker that covered up the "stereo" indication on the front cover, which was long ago removed, leaving a bit of yellowing in that area (upper right corner, see photo). The round orange/red sticker on the front cover indicating its mono format is complete and in great shape.
This album came with a generic white inner sleeve. I replaced it with an archival inner sleeve, which I then placed in a generic white outer cover in order to best protect the vinyl and the original outer cover (see photo). The album will be shipped as described here for maximum protection. All in all, a really fantastic copy of this hyper rare mono promo version of a great Cream album!
