Description

An original 1st press of Gears for the UK market.. A1/B1. SUPER CHUNKY.. WINDFALL publishing...widely considered to be the 1st variant. The vinyl comes housed in an original cover FULLY laminated back and front. On the rear format indicator is top left...that means it is early. We also have the generic inner too. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.>
Vinyl (Ex/Vg+) In great condition having seen only relatively light use.  Under close inspection I can only make out a few light marks per side - nothing heavily or troublesome [fully tested]. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback with a couple of deviations. Intros and inbetweens are really quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. This is on a lot of folks fave list and you really need a clean copy to do it maximum justice. Plays much better than you typically find ...  Super resolving potential deep into the mix. All I could detect was a couple of minor ticks early in SUNSHINE and an occasional light static crackle in that track. Sunshine is still more than entertaining..The odd static crackle and light background in the quietest moments of We're Going Wrong'...nothing unpleasant...mostly minor.. .just not as clean as elsewhere on the LP..Highly recommended for audio. Superb. 
Cover (Ex/Ex-) In super condition with clean, and importantly, untarnished surfaces. Very rarely do u see it this pristine. Spine 90% intact - text fully legible...very nice. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Vg+) No splits., a bit of ageing.
