Original UK Reaction blue label stereo 2nd press LP.
Recorded in May 1967 whilst on tour in the USA in New York's Atlantic Studios with Felix Paparaldi producing & co-writing. According to the engineer Tom Dowd the recording sessions took only three-and-a-half days, quite a feat considering the length of the album. The band's visas expired on the very last day of recording and they returned to London where the artwork was created in July by Martin Sharp. With the front laminated sleeve and the second label variant with the 'Immediate/Copyright Control' song credits and the '1967-1966' miss-date on sides 1 & 2 of the labels, issued between early 1968 to late 1969!
  The Ernest J. Day & Co Ltd front laminated sleeve is intact & in EX condition, with some light laminate rubbing on the front cover and some minmal storage wear on the rear cover. The unlaminated spine is intact and fully readable, the plain company inner is intact & in VG+ condition.   The record is in visually EX+ condition, with only a couple of very faint hairlines visible under bright light on each side. The labels are in EX+ condition, clean & bright with evidence of one or two faint spindle markings on each side.   The sound reproduction is EX+, still clear & precise throughout with no loud pops or clicks & definately no skips, sticks or jumps, but there is some very brief background noise during the run in grooves, overall a really great, loud & punchy listen!!   The matrix nos. are; (hand etched) 593003 & (stamped) P.1967 K7 & V, A-2 stamper 3, 5 5 (inverted), B-3 stamper 2, 4 5 (inverted).
This is one of the early 1968 copies of the 2nd pressing of the original 1967 UK stereo 1st issue of this album!
