CREAM - 'DISRAELI GEARS'
This superb UK 1st STEREO pressing of their 2nd LP dates from initial November 1967 on the Reaction label: 594003

This true 1st pressing has the earliest 'Windfall Music' publishing credit on side 1 & the 'Apple Publishing' credit on label 2

Matrix numbers: 594003 A v 1 & 593001 B v 1

Vinyl weight: 148g

The disc is housed within a FULLY laminated (front & rear) 'Ernest J. Day' printed cover, complete original poly-lined inner-sleeve


CONDITION

Labels: EXCELLENT +

A pristine pair bearing just a handful of light, well-aimed spindle spindle trails around each centre hole.

Visual: EXCELLENT +

Exceptionally clean & unworn deep-gloss playing surfaces which are unmarked in strong daylight with only some harmless wispy inner-sleeve removal paper hairlines visible directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp. A tough copy to upgrade.

Sound Quality: EXCELLENT +

This carefully and little played copy sounds clean & clear throughout with no trace of any groove/playwear distortion or any other deterioration to the sound quality. My playcheck detected just a touch of low-level vinyl background between tracks but certainly no clicks, pops or any other distractions.

Cover: EXCELLENT +

A wonderfully preserved vibrant example which retains an unfaded & unscratched high-gloss laminate bearing just a single 'thumbnail' wrinkle, but no other traces of wear whatsoever. The left corner tips are slightly rubbed, but there are no heavy bumps or bruising and both opening edges are perfectly sharp & unworn.

The rear panel is immaculate

The spine is unworn & fully worded and both seams are smooth & unstressed
