Description

An original 1st stereo press of FC on the UK Reaction label. Matrix A1/B1 - 1st cut. Please note label design is perfectly consistent with 1st press and is flat with no ridging. Also note the last publishing credits on either side, are Essex & Jewel [unlike copies from a couple of years later]. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original E J Day printed cover with patents pending. Also included is the original Decca inner sleeve from the time. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex) In lovely condition and has clearly only seen light use. Under close inspection we could make out a few light marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT level of playback with two slight deviations. Intros and inbetweens are very nice and quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity. A beautiful player with not all that much to find fault with. Interference is both minor and infrequent. Expect a few crackles in a couple of isolated moments per side. Absolutely nothing persistent or invasive. The only deviations are a couple of ticks toward the end of track 1 and track 3 [side1]. Apart from that expect a super rendition of this CREAM classic.
Cover (Ex) Well, I can assure you that it's not all that easy finding the cover for this title looking this sweet. A lovely shiny front with only one thumbnail crease, and perhaps a couple of stress creases at the edge..Impressive looking! The rear is, in reality, even more impressive. You almost never find the rear looking clean and unaged, but somehow this example has managed it! There's only the very lightest handling evident. Edge wear is very light for this title and the openings are still sharpish. The spine exhibits a bit of wear in a couple of spots, and 'Fresh' is partially obscured as a result. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity and you'd really have to go some to even equal this cover.
Inner (Ex-) Lightest ageing. No splits or markings.
