Description

An original STEREO 1st Press of WOF on the UK Polydor label from 1968. Matrix 2/1/2/1. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original E J Day gatefold cover. Also included are both original poly-lined inner sleeves. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Vg+/Vg) In very nice condition and has only seen light to moderate use. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of light marks per side and a couple of superficial trail marks - nothing heavy or troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a VERGOOD+ level of playback in parts. At other times around the VERYGOOD level. It's the original stereo 1st... but the buyer needs to be someone who can compromise a bit on the audio side. A lot of the tracks play pretty nice with slight interference occasionally. Some - like 'Passing The Time' & 'Pressed Rat' & TWTD's & 'Spoonful' & 'Train Time' are going to play with elevated background. Not really invasive. But it will be audible and noticeable at times. Overall, still a decent player - just be sure you can compromise.
Cover (Ex-) Due to the foil employed in manufacture on these covers they are a total pain to find well preserved. But this example seems to have survived the years in well above average condition. There's only light handling observable front and back. This is far better than what tends to typically surface. The interior is immaculate. Usually it has aged or is dirty - but this is clean and unworn. Some light edge wear - but nothing stand out. The spine is much better than you typically find with all text still legible. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Vg) A bit aged and a bit creased. No splits though.
