Description
Wheels Of Fire is the third studio album by the British rock band. It was released in the U.S. on the Atco Records label in June 1968. One disc was recorded in the studio and the other was recorded live at the Fillmore West and Winterland Ballroom in San Francisco. The front and back cover is a silver-grey drawing, with the inner gatefold using a similar drawing only with day-glo colors of orange, green, pink and yellow. The illustrations by Martin Sharp epitomize the psychedelic, flower power trends of the era. The foil cover is particularly hard to find in presentable condition without ring wear. Very nice copy here w slight split in bottom center seam of otherwise nice example from 1968.
