Description
Released by Creation Records in 1993, cat # CRELP 139; this is “Souvlaki” by Slowdive.
This is the rare first vinyl pressing from 1993 – not to be confused with the recent re-issue.
The sleeve is in excellent condition. The spine/seams are fine. There is ever so slight wear along the lower edge just by the opening edge.
The record comes in the correct pictorial inner sleeve. The inner sleeve is free of any signs of seam splits.
There is a light scuff/pressing fault on the first track on side one. This has no effect whatsoever on the playing quality of the record. I’ve played it through on a quality deck without any noise/pops or clicks. There is also a very light hairline on the penultimate track on side two. Again, no hint of a loss of playing quality when played.
The record grades as excellent.
Postage and packing will be £2.98 for First Class (recorded) for UK customers. European customers will pay £3.85 airmail and USA and the Rest of the World customers will pay £6.96 airmail. Insurance will be required on all consignments valued over £36 without exception. Please do not bid if you are not prepared to pay for the appropriate postal service to insure your purchase.
Payment by Paypal is preferred and is the only option for overseas customers. UK customers can pay by traditional means if required. Payment is required within three days of the end of the auction.
All of my records are packed properly and securely to ensure they arrive with you in the same condition they leave me. Records are removed from inner sleeves before packing to avoid seam splits and all items are placed within a polythene sleeve for protection.
