Description

Another very accessible avant garde jazz album. Complexity, sometimes controlled chaos, with a rhythmic backbone that keeps you engaged throughout the whole album.


Kaeef Ruzadun is the bandleader on this record, who wrote the liner notes on the back, as well as the composer of all the tracks, and last but not least the brother of B.J. Crowley, who seems to not technically be in the band but is in the credits as a vocalist and co-leader. Their story is awesome, and the warmth demonstrated while they were growing up is demonstrated in the music a lot. I never get sick of one instrument fluttering for too long, getting off track, etc and that fails to happen here. Tight group!


Plays at 45 RPM and I this is the first vinyl reissue of this project ever (since 1981), where it was released on 2 discs rather than one like in ‘81.
