Description

An original 1st issue of COSMO'S FACTORY on USA Fantasy from the charting period. Nice heavy solid pressing - not like the flimsy crap a year or two later...The vinyl comes housed in an original USA printed heavy-card cover. We also have a rather cool looking inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) A lovely looking slab of vinyl and has only seen light use. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of light marks per side, one superficial trail per side - nothing heavy or troublesome though. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback with one deviation. Intros and inbetweens are lovely and quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. Bangin'! An absolute cracker of a copy...you can keep cranking it and it will de-liver! Really clean signalled and has clearly see light careful use. Totally luv it. Even in the quieter moments this beast take it in its stride. Just maximum R&B/R&R. Just a couple of very minor ticks observable in a couple of isolated spots in 'My Baby'. You'll probably struggle to spot them - I am just being as critical as I can be. GRAPEVINE can be hard to find playing clean...this example totally nails the extended version with clarity and amazing precision. Overall a fantastic rendition and there's little to take issue with. Highly recommended.
Cover (Vg+) Not quite up to the standard of the vinyl, but these original USA covers are a real pain to find in top condition. Lovely clean and front with just some handling wear at the foot. The rear looks marginally better with almost on wear on the rear image. Expect a bit of edge wear in places as hard to avoid. Doesn't appear to have worn through anywhere - but a fair bit of wear and it has been tidied up in places. Spine looks pretty good with wear at the foot. Text is 70% legible. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Vg+) Doesn't appear to have aged. A couple of minor edge splits - I have tape repaired internally.
