Description
Selected titles from the private collection of a music business veteran are now being made available for the first time. Titles offered by this Seller are one-owner and came directly from the pressing plant, record company warehouse, other label reps or record store unless otherwise noted.
Grading is based on visual inspection.
Album ships in a 2 MIL poly cover sleeve.
I package records outside the cover to avoid seam splits.
- What an incredible debut album! It not only started Creedence's career it also launched Fantasy founder Saul Zaentz's career as a movie producer (One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest, Amadeus, The English Patient) and as a decades running adversary of John Fogerty. In other words, the revenue generated by Creedence financed those movies.
- This record is on very heavy vinyl. I cannot find any pressing information on the dead wax.
- There are spindle marks but it looks like this has been played only a few times.
- It is on the original silver on blue Fantasy label.
- The paper on board cover has tight seams and shows no wear.
- The "Suuzie Q" snipe on the cover is embedded in the art work.
- Seller got this new in his store in 1969. It has been in storage for 47 years.

- This track is a remake of "Walking on the Water", a recording released by the band as a single, in 1966, while they were still known as The Golliwogs.
