Description
Original UK blue Liberty label stereo 1st press LP, with the classic Creedence hit 'Fortunate Son' and earliest A-1/B-1 matrices! The MacNeill Press textured matt sleeve is intact & in EX condition, with some light corner/edge wear and some light rubbing. The spine is intact and fully readable, the plain inner is intact & in EX condition. The record is in visually EX+ condition, with only a couple of faint sleeve removal hairlines visible on each side, which do not affect play. The labels are in EX+ condition, clean & bright with evidence of one or two slight spindle markings on each side. The sound reproduction is EX+, still clear & precise throughout with definately no skips, sticks or jumps, but there is some very brief background noise during the run in grooves before the music starts, overall a really great loud & punchy listen!! The matrix nos. are; LBG-83338, A//1 420 stamper 1-1-14, B//1 420 stamper 1-1-12. This is one of the very early copies of the 1st pressing of the original 1970 UK stereo issue of this album!!All records are checked on an Acoustic Research deck before being listed and any flaws noted in the listing, so if you have any problems with the record please contact me for a full refund of original price & postage on return of the record (no partial refunds), no quibbles, no problems!! All grades are those used in the Record Collector Guide. All lp's are sent in cardboard record mailers with plastic covers and cardboard stiffeners to protect the LP's!! UK Signed For Postage is £4.50 for the first LP & is the same for up to four single LP's or two double LP's or more up to 2 KG!,
