Creedence Clearwater Revival-Cosmo's Factory-1978 MFSL Rock LP

This is an excellent copy of the 1980 MFSL release of Creedence Clearwater Revival, Cosmo's Factory. This LP was recorded from the original master tapes at half speed and pressed on audiophile quality virgin vinyl that is translucent (in that light passes through) by Victor Company of Japan (JVC). The package includes original dust resistant plastic record sleeve. This is a rare pressing with near mint copies having book value of $70

As to grading, I grade very conservatively following Goldmine Record grading standard. Except that for records that are a notch below near mint, rather than VG ++, I prefer to use grade of Excellent. I do not use VG++ grade in addition to Excellent grade as is done by some.

The LP is in excellent condition with no visible marks. The LP was tested through headphones after manual cleaning and plays very nice and quietly. As the LP was tested several weeks before listing it should, of course, be cleaned again before play. The cover is in very good condition. The corners on all sides are moderately worn. The top seam and bottom seams are intact with some rub wear and loss of color visible. There is slight start of tear in the seam on both the bottom and top corner of the mouth. There is flaking of about 1 inch in the spine at the top and bottom corners but not yet split. The product information  on spine is readable. There is slight flaking just over the title and at the top near the spine. There is slight bowing in the cover. There is wear on the front edge of the cover from bottom until about height of middle of cover 

The LP is being sold without reserve and payment is expected within 3 days of auction close. Return of the LP will only be accepted if the same LP sold and shipped is returned in the same condition .Buyers that behave in a less than ethical manner will be reported and blocked from participation in future auctions. The LP will be separated from the cover when shipped to prevent seam splitting.
