An original 1st press of the DEBUT. Matrix 2/2. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original textured cover [printed by E J day]. We also have the original lyric insert and an original inner sleeve from the time. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex) In super condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of lightest marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, EXCELLENT level of playback with two slight deviations. Intros and inbetweens are lovely and quiet and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. A relatively paired down sound - this sort of release needs to be heard on an early 1st that plays clean! And this example, I'm pleased to report, is more than capable of delivering just that. Super quality audio - I can't really imagine anyone doing better than this copy for audio. As good as I've ever witnessed. A couple of crackles in a couple of spots per side. Perhaps, a couple of isolated minor ticks per side. An absolute cracker.
Cover (Ex-) I imagine this cover is a total pain to find in super condition. But this specimen is in surprisingly good order. First thing to mention is that this cover [inside and out] is totally unaffected by ageing. There is ZERO sign of light fade. There is ZERO creasing back and front - and no signs of surface wear [unusual]. The interior is superbly preserved - just a tiny patch of surface wear [top left - no big deal]. The text on the spine is all fully legible - with just lightest wear observable. A bit of edge wear in places, but must be less than you typically find I would imagine. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity. Please note - the owners name seems to be written surreptitiously on the reverse.
Inner (Vg+) Little ageing. Bag present, but detaching. No splits.
Lyric Insert (Ex-) Touch of ageing.
