Description
Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young – Déjà Vu
Atlantic SD 7200 • 1970 U.S. Original Monarch Pressing
Original 1970 U.S. pressing of CSNY’s Déjà Vu, pressed by Monarch Record Mfg. Co. in California.
This copy has the desirable “MO” pressing designation on both labels, with the original Atlantic 1841 Broadway, New York address and period red/green Atlantic labels.
- Pressing / Identification Details:
• Atlantic SD 7200
• 1970 U.S. original issue
• Monarch (MO) pressing
• Side 1 label matrix: ST-A-701829-MO
• Side 2 label matrix: ST-A-701830-MO
• Hand-etched runout markings present; see detailed photos
• Original-style textured faux-leather gatefold with gold lettering
• Atlantic catalog insert included
- Vinyl / Playback:
Record has been play-tested. Vinyl has visible surface scratches and handling marks consistent with age and use, as shown in the photos.
Despite the visible marks, the record plays well with no skips. Vinyl was cleaned prior to testing.
I would conservatively describe the vinyl visually as VG due to the surface marks, with playback better than the visual appearance might suggest.
- Cover:
The distinctive textured gatefold presents very nicely for its age. Gold front lettering remains strong, front photograph is well preserved, and the textured exterior has relatively light overall wear. Interior photo spread is clean and attractive.
Please examine all photos closely for the exact cosmetic condition. Photos include the actual record, labels, playing surfaces, gatefold and runout/matrix markings.
A very presentable, playable example of the original 1970 Monarch pressing of this classic album, with its period Atlantic catalog insert still included.
Shipped in a new Mylar outer sleeve, secured in a rigid cardboard protector, packed with care into another box with packing materials (no shipping bags!) to best support a safe journey to you.
