Description

Wooden Nickel is a rare album by Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young. It is an unofficial release on Canyon Records. The LP was recorded live at the Big Sur Music Festival, Big Sur, California on September 13 and 14, 1969, shortly after the group was introduced at Woodstock without Young. Released in 1970, the album is packaged in a plain white cover sleeve and pressed on heavy vinyl. A black-and-white photo of the group was shrink-wrapped over the white front cover. A blank, orange-colored label is attached to the vinyl.
