Description

Crosswind-No One But You/Fire(It's Getting Hot) (Harbor City Records 1987?). Rare original copy of this modern soul boogie single out of Baltimore. This record contains the same Fire (It's Getting Hot) track as the black label version of this single, but this light blue label version does not have the ballad We Can Work It Out on the a-side. Instead the a-side has a sunny mid-tempo love jam called No One But You. There's no date on the labels, but I found this platter in a pile of mid to late 80's vinyl in Baltimore. The band name Crosswind does not appear on the labels of this version, but all of the writing and production credits are exactly the same as the black label version. This copy has an autograph on one of the labels as well as on the sleeve. I can't decipher the writing, but you can check them out in the photos. Visually the vinyl grades VG with the light bulb revealing some non-feelable scratches, scuffs, and sleeve marks as well as a very slight storage warp that tracks fine. Both songs play solid VG+ with occasional spots of light background noise and a few scattered light pops, but overall the songs come through strong. The original red generic sleeve is VG with worn corners, seam wear, spine wear, ring wear, and overall wear but it's still completely intact with no splits.

Grade Scale: EX, VG++, VG+, VG, G, Poor. All records are play-graded, observed under a light bulb, and checked for warps.
