Vinyl: Will show some signs that it was played and otherwise handled by a previous owner who took care of it. Record surfaces may show some signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or light scratches that will not have too much affect one's listening experiences.
Sleeve: May have slight signs of wear and may have a "cut-out".

Vinyl: Many of the signs found in a VG+ conditions, will be more pronounced in a VG items. Surface noise could be evident upon playing, especially in soft passage. Wear will start to be noticeable, as with scratches (deep enough to feel with a fingernail). But it could also seem visually VG, and actually have an excellent sound.
Sleeve: May have writing, tape, or stickers. The same will be true of labels.
