INFO: This is a true 1st pressing of this album, released in France on Savoy MusiDisc (SA 6022) in 1959, the same year as the US release. This is a stunning mono copy that looks as good as it sounds. The band consists of:
Curtis Fuller - trombone Benny Golson - tenor sax Tommy Flanagan - piano Jimmy Garrison - bass Al Harewood - drums
Features compositions by Fuller, Golson, Charlie Shavers and one standard. 
RECORD CONDITION: EX. This is a beautiful copy of this classic record that you'll be hard to top. I visually grade it at EX, only missing NM because of some very light sleeve marks and one small non-feelable scratch on side 1, neither of which effect play. It plays through just beautifully, with no skips or pops and only the lightest of surface noise in the most quiet parts. It actually looks like it's barely been played, retaining a healthy shine on both sides and with gorgeous labels with no spindle marks. You won't find a cleaner 60 year old record!
COVER CONDITION: EX. Classic European "flip-back" cover is also gorgeous, almost an archival copy! Many of these types of covers are pretty flimsy but this one is sturdy and strong. There are two tiny smudges on the back, which you could probably get off with an eraser. Other than that, corners are strong, seams are all intact, color is magnificent, and it even has the original poly inner sleeve!

I will ship with LP in a MoFi Mastersleeve, behind the cover for safety. Shipping will be in a sturdy cardboard record mailers with cardboard and/or bubble wrap to protect the LP inside.
