1958 Original DG 12” LP – 47 West 63rd NYC label address – ear and RVG in dead wax both sides – no registry mark

DISC:  visually the vinyl is NM- was just isolated marks – looks like it was played lightly and handled carefully – the vinyl played very cleanly with a nice strong fidelity – there is light crackle in spots as you would expect – plays very close to “AS NEW” with the only exception being 4 soft tics over the entire LP (two tics followed by two tics later in the track) – the overall play was exceptional

COVER:  NM-  no major defects – the front is clean, the back shows a little age wear and has a name in upper right corner (very small writing) – seams and spine look strong with only blemish being a ½” split at open end of bottom seam, otherwise LIKE NEW – the corners show a little wear – nice solid cover

SIDEMEN:  Sonny Clark (piano), Art Farmer (trumpet), George Tucker (bass), Louis Hayes (drums)

COMMENTS:  nice solid copy of a very collectible Blue Note
