Description
This is the original deep groove RVG-stamped pressing of Curtis Fuller “New Trombone” on the West 50th St, labels of Prestige PRLP 7107. The playing surface appears to be in near-new condition, with a high luster; perhaps played once; however, there are two audible defects – the first, on Track 1 of Side A, makes five tics, and the second, on the first track of Side B, makes four tics. The laminated West 50th St. cover is in excellent condition – clean and bright throughout; ¼” wear on the top seam, at the opening; ½” bump at the lower right corner; “Not for Sale” stamped on the left and right edges of the back slick. Original glassine inner sleeve is included. Personnel include Sonny Red, Hank Jones, Doug Watkins, and Louis Hayes. $500.00.
