Cyril Davies’s first release on the privately pressed VJM label. Recorded and directed by Cyril Davies in Kenton, Middlesex, August 3, 1961. Cat NO: VEP 10
This EP is incredibly, incredibly rare, the last copy on eBay sold over six years ago! If you are reading this you may well be aware of the importance of Cyril Davies in the soon to blossom British Blues Scene along with his work with Alexis Korner, Blues Incorporated, Cyril Davies All Stars etc etc. In short this EP is a very important stepping stone to what was to come

Playing surfaces
The flat well centered playing surfaces display a superb rainbow luster under bright magnified light. The VJM labels also display superbly there is only one very very light spindle trail close to the spindle holes on both sides, in short I feel confident this record has only been played once or twice. This is a stunning example and we grade it without reservation as Near Mint (NM)
Cover
The Screen printed gatefold EP cover displays well to the front, with all text and illustrations fully clear and legible, there is some yellowing. The inside of the GF also displays some yellowing. There is no pen marks, stickers or other detractors. The ‘Pocket’ for the 7” disk has sheared cleanly top and bottom 2” we grade it without reservation as (VG)-
